The Mountains of Snowdonia

Trem yr Ynys is in the village of Betws-y-Coed, and Pennant is located high above the Conwy Valley with commanding views of the mountains of Snowdonia. Bryn Rhudd is in the Conwy Valley between Betws-y-Coed and Conwy.

The area is rich in natural beauty, outdoor activities and other tourist attractions.

The properties are ideally located for enjoying both the mountains of Snowdonia, and the beaches and coastline of the North Wales Coast. The famous mountain resort of Betws-y-Coed, and the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno are close by.

The area around Betws-y-Coed is ideal for activities such as walking, mountain biking, climbing, fishing, and horse riding, and there is a 9 hole golf course in Betws-y-Coed. Walkers can choose between the gentler forest walks around Betws-y-Coed and the Conwy Valley, or the more strenuous walks in the high mountains of Snowdonia such as the Carneddau or Snowdon.

There are also many tourist attractions within easy reach such as the steam railways of the Snowdon Mountain Railway and Ffestiniog Railway, or the impressive castles at Conwy, Caernarfon and Dolwyddelan. The world famous National Trust gardens of Bodnant Garden are a few miles down the road - a stunning garden at any time of year.

The self catering properties are located in and around Betws-y-Coed in the Conwy Valley in North Wales and are well connected to the UK's road network via North Wales' A55 coastal expressway which links to the M6, and the A5 from the M54. All properties have ample parking.
